Something seems to have gone wrong, and my last posts are not showing up. I hope this works.

This is my White Tower progress.  There are still a few textures I want to tweak, but for the most part I'm ready to call it done.  These images are all screenshots from Maya with no lighting.  I'm trying to decide if I want to try to render from Maya or if I'd rather take it into Unreal and render that way.

The last image is the concept I was working from.  I took some liberties with color, and I know the building does not match the tower described in the books, but I liked the concept.  I found the concept on a Wheel of Time encyclopedia, and the artist is listed as Richard Boye.  (http://encyclopaedia-wot.org/geography/tar_valon/white_tower.html)

Hi Liz!   I am so amazingly

Hi Liz!

I am so amazingly flattered that you did this! I love, love, love it. Ihave a question - do you have any shots of the upper part of the tower that is done in 3/4 view? It's really amazing to see this is quasi 3D. It is really so lovely. I love the addition of the rose window over the main doors.

Rich Boye :)

To Rich-

Wow!  I never expected you to see this and comment!  All my other comments are spam, I wish you had emailed me instead :)
I'm glad you like it!  I haven't touched this project in a while, but I'll see if I can post a better image of the top.  I'll post a closer image of the rose window too - I put a lot of symbolism into it.

Thanks for looking :)
